Day 2:
Today was the second day of our two-week stay in the beautiful city of Prague. We started the day by visiting one of the most iconic monuments in the city, the Charles Bridge. This incredible bridge has been standing for more than 600 years and is a living testament to the city’s rich history and culture. We spent some time taking in the incredible views of the city from the bridge and admiring the statues that line its length.
Afterward, we explored the old town and visited some of the city’s other famous sites. We visited Prague Castle, one of the largest castles in the world, which is home to the beautiful St. Vitus Cathedral. We then stopped at Old Town Square, surrounded by some of the most impressive Gothic architecture in the world.
We then began to make our way toward the modern part of the city. We stopped at Wenceslas Square, the main shopping area of Prague, where we spent some time browsing the stores and sampling some delicious Czech snacks. We then visited the Prague Zoo, where we could observe some of the world’s most exotic wildlife up close.
Finally, we ended our day by visiting one of the most picturesque parts of the city, the Vltava River. We took a walk along the riverbanks and admired the stunning views of the city from a different perspective. It was a great way to end our second day in this fantastic city.
